Healthy Fast Food & Snacks |

There's an untapped market out there. It consists of at least one person - me. I would really like to be able to get a decent, healthy meal without waiting hours for it. Here in Amsterdam we have a few good fast-food outfits. I can get a falafel sandwich in several places. There is a humus restaurant not too far away. Surely there is more of a market for this kind of food than is generally appreciated. Not everyone wants greasy hamburgers for lunch, but it's often the only kind of food available when you're in a hurry. Several criteria need to be met. The food must be susceptible to advance preparation, needing only final cooking and assembly. It must store well for several days. It must not require expensive ingredients. These are not such difficult requirements. Such things as soups, sandwiches, humus, and falafel are suitable. Why doesn't the next generation Ray Kroc (founder of McDonalds) take this great idea (being offered here absolutely for free) and do something with it? I'll be your first customer. |
